John Blum
Biography
John Blum is a first year graduate student in the Geophysics Curricular Group at Scripps Institution of Oceanography. He received a bachelor's degree in Honors Physics from the University of Michigan in April 2003. He is a National Science Foundation Gr
aduate Research Fellow working towards his Ph.D. at Scripps. John's research interests include developing instruments for seafloor/geophysical exploration, using remote sensing techniques to study morphological seafloor fabric, and modeling the non-linea
r dynamics and emergent properties of geomorphic processes.
